As you probably already heard, theres this great article over at Good Gear Guide on the 12 most interesting linux distros out there. I especially love Tin Foil Hat Linux and the live.linuX-gamers.net distros. I have an old Dell Inspiron laptop sitting at home just wating to be utilized for something. Heck, even the Mythbuntu distro might turn my old laptop into a useful media center. I'm looking forward to heading home at the end of the day so I can tool around with several of these distros and see which one might run best on my laptop.

I just went about installing SVN client on my Ubuntu slice. I had previosly been working directly withing terminal but found that I wanted to have the ability to work on my desktop. It was simple to set up svn on my slice, and I recommend that everyone do so for any project they are creating.
