Web Development, CMS implementation, social media integration

FG Squared was looking to redesign their web presence, while bringing together their 200+ portfolio and case studies into one cohesive user experience.

I used the SilverStripe Saphire Framework to construct specific page types using the MVC paradigm. Saphire requires all code to follow the MVC paradigm; all page types had a Model which defined and contained all data objects, a controller to manipulate the data, and a viewer in the form of specialized templates with specific control mark-up.

FG Squared had all their assets stored on Flickr and were comfortable in using its interface to upload and tag their pictures. Seeking to up SEO results, FG Squared decided to integrate their Flickr service into their CMS and subsequently thier web site. We constructed a tagging method for FG Squares Flickr photo. I then wrote the necessary code to alter the SilverStripe back-end and display the Flickr stream for a unique entry.  In doing so, we were able to create a one to many relationship between project entries and their Flickr counter parts.

i did most of the front-end work; XHTML, CSS, AJAX (JQuery). Towards the end of the development cycle we contracted out to another developer to give me hand (I was the only developer at FG Squared).

I constructed all page types in PHP. Set-up MySQL database.
