My partner and I took in the movie Reality Bites the other day; having been riminded of the film nostalgicly through that oh so very popular The Knack song and because my partner had never seen the film. It was nice to see just how true the movie still rings even after almost 14 years. The highlight of the film is when the main character, Lelaina Pierce, gets fired from her job, starts job hunting, falls into a rut while driving up the phone bill with calls to a pshycic network, and then creatively draging herself out by using her fathers gas card.
